AZ Lemonade Stand is a premium lemonade company founded and brewed in Phoenix, Arizona. We pour 15 flavors over the course of the year, and Cranberry is the one we save for the holiday season.

What Does Cranberry Lemonade Taste Like?

Our Cranberry Lemonade opens with the sharp, tangy bite of cranberry and settles into the bright citrus of fresh lemon. The tartness lands first, the lemon softens it, and the finish is clean instead of syrupy.

It sits on the tart end of our flavor lineup. If Strawberry is the crowd-pleaser, Cranberry is for the guest who likes a little edge in the glass. That same tartness is why it pairs so well with spirits and sparkling wine.

Why Is Cranberry Lemonade Only Available for the Holidays?

Cranberry Lemonade is seasonal because cranberries are. The North American harvest runs from September through early November, according to the Associated Press, and demand peaks right around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The timing is tight. Bob Wilson of The Cranberry Network told FreshPlaza that more than half of fresh cranberry consumption happens in November, with about a quarter in December. We brew our run to match that window, which is also why we can’t promise how long a given store will have it in stock.

Every batch of Cranberry Lemonade is brewed in our Phoenix kitchen, brought to a boil, and hot-filled straight into a 32 oz glass mason jar. Hot filling is the step that locks in flavor and keeps each sealed jar shelf-stable.

It’s a slower, more deliberate process than mixing a drink cold, and it’s the reason our lemonade tastes the way it does. A few practical things come out of it:

• Sealed jars are shelf-stable, so you can stock up a week before a party
• Once a jar is open, keep it in the fridge
• The glass jar is worth keeping, it makes a good holiday centerpiece vase or a candle holder for the table

Easy Cranberry Cocktails to Make With Cranberry Lemonade

Cranberry Lemonade does most of the work in a holiday cocktail because the sweet, tart, and citrus notes are already balanced in the jar. Add a spirit, add some fizz, and you have a drink that looks and tastes like December.

• 2 oz vodka
• 4 oz Cranberry Lemonade
• Splash of soda water
• Lemon wheel and a few fresh cranberries
